Business Internet FAQs
Do Telcom have their own network?
Yes - we built and own our own network, which is 100% independent of BT Openreach or Virgin Media Business. As a full-stack company, we partner with local authorities, real estate owners, investors, landowners and communities to design and deploy metropolitan networks, whilst partnering with service providers who are able to offer products and services directly to our end consumer. We are super proud of our infrastructure division, ‘Telcom Infrastructure’, who work tirelessly day in day out to extend our fibre network, in order to connect our full fibre network to businesses everywhere.
What support should I expect to receive from Telcom?
All Telcom customers will begin an onboarding journey with one of our Connectivity Specialists who will understand your business needs and the best way to get your site connected for good. Once we have put together a proposal and an order form has been signed, our Service Delivery Team will organise the connectivity of your services with our fantastic engineers.
Once your services are live you will be assigned an Account Manager who will work with you throughout your time with Telcom and act as your first point of contact for any concerns, queries or changes to your service. We also have our own Technical and Network Support, a fantastic team of geniuses on your side. If you should have an admin query or need assistance to raise a complaint you also have a Customer Experience Team who you can count on.
Telcom also hosts an Online Account where these contacts are available, as well as lots of general information about your account for you to access at your own leisure.
If you would like to discuss more about the type of support you can expect to receive at Telcom, you can contact us today.
How does Telcom provide connectivity services?
Here at Telcom, we have a number of ways we can deliver your internet services:
Full Fibre: Our Telcom Infrastructure team exists to build and extend our wholly owned fibre network, and connect our end customers to our flagship connectivity product ‘PureFibre’.

Wireless: Point-to-point radios are a great way to get dedicated bandwidth to you quickly. As long as we have line of sight to one of our fibre powered Point of Presence (PoP) sites, you could receive a wireless connection within as little as 24 hours - perfect for temporary requirements, events, pre-ethernet connectivity or to just provide resilience.
Mobile: We offer mobile solutions on any of the 4 major mobile network operators, or better still, take a roaming solution that will select the strongest mobile network operator signal at all times.
Partner fibre: If you’re not yet in an area where you can receive PureFibre, our team might offer you a Telcom connection via one of our select fibre partners. It will still be on our network and you will still be our customer, so you’re in safe hands.
